European Parking Association elects a new President, Vice-President and three Board Members

The European Parking Association (EPA aisbl) has announced the (re-)election of five board members to its Board of Directors. The election was held during EPA’s Annual General Assembly on the final day of the 21st European Parking Conference & Exhibition in Brussels. Over 50 of the organisations Full and Corporate members gathered at what was only the second Ordinary General Assembly of the EPA aisbl since its foundation in 2023.

Theo Thuis, a consensus candidate nominated by the Bulgarian Association for Parking and Sustainable Urban Mobility (BAPSUM), was elected President of the European Parking Association. He takes over from the BPA’s own Nigel Williams, who served as President for three years, and now takes on the role of President Emeritus.

Peter Dingemans, nominated by VEXPAN, was elected Vice President, replacing Stefan Sadleder, who stepped down from the Board and will join the newly elected Policy & Strategy Committee. Nicola Veratelli, nominated by AIPARK, joins the Board newly elected as a representative of the Full Members.

The day also saw the re-elections of Sébastien Fraisse, FNMS, as Full Member representative and Morten Hother Sørensen, Arrive (formerly EasyPark) as Corporate Board Member.

Following the elections, new EPA President Theo Thuis stated: “I am very grateful for the trust of our national associations and commit to continue listening to all EPA’s members so that we can deliver new initiatives and services to the benefit of the entire parking sector. Together, with the entire Board, we will further develop EPA’s 2024-2029 roadmap and enhance our internal and external communications.”
